3.1. EDUCATION : “Bharatiya Values and Integral Humanism”
Education is the cornerstone of a developed society, but it must be grounded in the nation's cultural and philosophical traditions. Upadhyaya emphasized an education system that promotes holistic development, nurturing intellect, character, and spiritual insight. The educational system must foster Bharatiya values, instilling a sense of duty (Karma), ethical living (Dharma), and the pursuit of knowledge (Jnana). Education should not merely prepare individuals for economic productivity but also for responsible citizenship and ethical leadership. A Viksit Bharat will prioritize an education system that bridges the gap between traditional wisdom and modern knowledge, fostering innovation while maintaining rootedness in the country’s civilizational heritage.
3.2. ECONOMICS (Arthayam) : “Economic Stability : the Bharat way”
Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, advocated for an economic model that prioritized the welfare of all sections of society, with a focus on decentralization and community-based initiatives. He believed that economic policies should be rooted in the principles of dharma and aimed at empowering individuals and communities to achieve self-sufficiency. His vision of self-reliant India, aligns with his emphasis on indigenous production and self-sufficiency, promoting economic policies that prioritize domestic industries and support local entrepreneurship. His ideas continue to influence the economic policies of Modern Bharat, as the country strives towards realizing the vision of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat and building a strong and self-reliant nation.
